Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities is a full-time undergraduate college directly under the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in Baise City, Guangxi, the birthplace of the Baise Uprising led by Comrade Deng Xiaoping. The school is responsible for the training of undergraduates, postgraduates and international students. History The predecessor of the school was Baise Higher Medical College founded in 1958. In 1978, it was upgraded to an undergraduate medical school and renamed Youjiang Medical College for Nationalities. In 1982, it was granted the right to confer bachelor's degrees.
